Sites extend that logic: if you can automate a multi-step process and save it as a skill, the next question is how others access it. The answer here is web deployment without engineering. Combined with 'Create Slides, Docs, and Templates' (same day), which emphasized template persistence, OpenAI is building a coherent story around artifact durability and team sharing. The missing piece until now was whether those artifacts could become collaborative applications.

If OpenAI announces integrations with enterprise identity providers (Okta, Entra) or audit logging for Sites within the next two quarters, that signals they're targeting regulated industries and expect Sites to become business-critical infrastructure. If adoption stays confined to internal tools and prototypes, the platform remains a productivity accelerant rather than a deployment alternative.
